SS1: Port Charles 1 (22.53kms)
8:18am

By quite some margin, this will be the fastest of the three roads used in the event. Fast and flowing sections across farmland punctuated by the odd twisty hillclimb, some even on tarmac. Road changes in nature at the northern junction into a tight and narrow hill section before a fast finish.

SS2: Port Charles 2 (22.53kms)
10:06am

A repeat of SS1. Fast and flowing sections across farmland punctuated by the odd twisty hillclimb, some even on tarmac. Road changes in nature at the northern junction into a tight and narrow hill section that may cut up in sections if wet. Enjoy the straights towards the end, about the last ones competitors will see today.

SS3: 309 Road 1 (11.52kms)
11:14am

A fantastic twisting and turning run down the hill towards Whitianga on what is the alternative highway across the peninsula, thankfully still largely gravelled! As it starts to work it’s way down the hill there are a few short and potentially tricky (especially if wet) tarmac sections. Short and sharp at just over 11 km, but the arms will be pumping by the end of it. Good co-drivers will be improving the notes in here with a further two passes to come.

SS4: Coroglen 1 (22.78kms)
12:37pm

Flows through the first few kilometres including several tarmac bridges, before working up the hill and tightening up as it goes, then over the top and down the other side, there’s a few places you won’t want to get it wrong! Finishes on a short tarmac stretch.

SS5: 309 Road 2 (11.52kms)
2:05pm

A fantastic twisting and turning run down the hill towards Whitianga on what is the alternative highway across the peninsula, thankfully still largely gravelled! As it starts to work it’s way down the hill there are a few short and potentially tricky (especially if wet) tarmac sections. Short and sharp at just over 11 km, but the arms will be pumping by the end of it.

SS6: Coroglen 2 (22.78kms)
3:28pm

Flows through the first few kilometres including several tarmac bridges, before working up the hill and tightening up as it goes, then over the top and down the other side, there’s a few places you won’t want to get it wrong! Finishes on a short tarmac stretch.

SS7: 309 Road 3 (11.52kms)
4:56pm

A fantastic twisting and turning run down the hill towards Whitianga on what is the alternative highway across the peninsula, thankfully still largely gravelled! As it starts to work it’s way down the hill there are a few short and potentially tricky (especially if wet) tarmac sections. Short and sharp at just over 11 km, but the arms will be pumping by the end of it. Third pass now, so some of the tarmac hairpins could be quite messy and muddy if wet.

SS8: Dakota Drive (1.42kms)
5:24pm

Three laps of the industrial block, an opportunity to put on a show for the local fans before the finish!
